Booking informations

Winter season 21/22, we offer free cancellation (or moving of your booking to the same time next year) in any the following cases:

  • Austria is in lockdown.
  • Your home country is in lockdown or prohibits travel.
  • You are quarantined because of a covid infection or contact.
  • Travelling to us will result in a quarantine (in Austria or your home country).
  • You are unable to get your booster shot in time.

Of course, you can cancel for any other reason, free of charge, up to 14 days in advance.

The Alpenhotel Tirolerhof will adhere to all measures and regulations posed by the Austrian government. For your safety, and ours.
Please make sure you adhere to the local regulations while staying with us.

Check-in is possible from 08:00 until 21:00. Your room will be ready at the latest 16:00.
We are happy to store your luggage for you in the meantime.
Please notify us in advance if you expect to arrive after 21:00.

Check-out is possible from 08:00 until 10:30.
We ask you to check out in the evening before if you plan to depart before 08:00 the next day.

  • * Children up to and including 12 years old will be served a special children’s menu as part of the half-board.
  • Above discounts are valid for any bed above the standard occupancy of two beds in a room. (Apartments are standard 4 persons)
    E.g., two adults in a triple room pay the full price, a third would get 10% discount.
  • We are happy to supply baby beds, free of charge. Please inform us in advance if you require one.

To confirm your booking, we require a down payment of 30% of the total price, within 7 days of booking.
Bank transfer is the preferred payment method.

Upon arrival we will require you to show a credit card, for security deposit. *

The remainder your stay must be settled on arrival via bank card or credit card.

In the case of a cancellation within the free-cancellation period, your down payment will be restituted to a bank account of your preference.

Special terms apply to group bookings involving 20 persons or more.

* We reserve the right to block an amount, up to 30% of your stay, or the amount of 1 night stay, on your credit card until 24 hours after departure.

Cancellations will be charged according to the following timetable:

Up to 14 days before arrivalFree cancellation.
After 14 days before arrival70% of the total price.
After 7 days before arrival90% of the total price.
After arrival, or in case of ‘no-show’100% of the total price.

We advise you to take Travel insurance to cover any cancellation costs in unforeseeable circumstances.

In general, we accept bookings from Saturday to Saturday. Different arrival or departure days only upon request. As are short stays.
Please contact our office if you require different arrival or departure days, we will be happy to look for possibilities with you.

Winter 21/22: Due to this year’s Christmas and New Year’s Eve stretching through the weekend. We have changed our standard arrival/departure day around this period:

Week 51: Arrival possible on Saturday or Sunday. Departure on Saturday or Sunday.
Week 52: Arrival possible on Saturday or Sunday. Departure only on Sunday.
Week 1: Arrival only on Sunday. Departure on Saturday or Sunday.
Week 2: Arrival on Saturday or Sunday. Departure only on Saturday.

For summer season bookings we do not require any prepayment.

Upon arrival we will require you to show a credit card, for security deposit. *

The remainder your stay can be settled on departure via bank card or credit card.

Of course, you are also very welcome to pay in advance via bank transfer. See bank details below.

* We reserve the right to block an amount, up to 30% of your stay, on your credit card until 24 hours after departure.

Free cancellation until 14 days before arrival.

After 14 days before arrival, we will charge 50% of the total price of your stay.

On the arrival date or in case of a ‘no-show’ we will charge 100% of the total price of your stay.

We advise you to take Travel insurance to cover any cancellation costs in unforeseeable circumstances.

For the summer season we do not charge extra for short stays.

For the summer season check-in and check-out is possible every day of the week.

We are very well suited for, and happy to welcome groups.
Please contact our office and we will happily assist you with your booking.

We count every booking that involves 20 or more persons as a group booking.

Pets only on request, for a fee (€ 12 per day, without food).

We highly recommend you take out a cancellation insurance with your booking.
The “Europäische Reiseversicherung” will also cover most COVID related issues for you.
Including quarantine measures preventing your travel.
